I agree, Dana. I have seen Casablanca several times.
Yep, new meaning to the line, Play it again Sam!
We’ll always have Paris!
Oui oui!
Brilliant choice, Dana. And you couldn’t have said it more succinctly.
Thanx John, I’m sure it’s on everyone’s list!
Yup!
Thanx Marian, I’m sure this one is on everyone’s list!
Well summed up! The “usual suspects” line lives on and on.
Yes indeed Khati, great flick!
Of course Casablanca was the top movie on my list! I will never get tired of it. And you summed it up beautifully in six words. But the line “Play it again, Sam” was never spoken in the movie. I think we have Woody Allen to thank for that misquotation.
Fortunately there’s no statute of limitations that would let the usual suspects off the hook. Well done!
Yes Tom!
And no limit on our enjoyment!
Ah, I stand corrected!
I probably saw the film, I love Woody Allen and see all his films, but I know I definitely saw his Broadway play version of Play It Again Sam
In fact I waited afterwards at the stage door, and when he came out Allen was characteristically ungracious, rushed away without signing autographs or speaking to his waiting fans. Disappointing, and his private life certainly not admirable , but I think he’s a genius and love his art!
Here’s looking at you, kid!
Cheers Bebe!
