This reminds me of a line in the screenplay about Darwin that Patti and I wrote: “Our connection with the natural is so profound, why do we need the supernatural?” That incensed a member of my screenwriting workshop group, who retorted: “Believing in God isn’t the same as believing in the supernatural!” But she couldn’t quite explain the difference.
